Does your laptop slow down as soon as you have lots of tabs, Teams and Excel open at the same time? Then your memory is full. You can upgrade from €69 per module, including installation and a full test.
How much memory do you need?
| Usage | Advice |
|---|---|
| Email, the internet, Office | 8 GB |
| Lots of tabs, video calls, light photo editing | 16 GB |
| Video editing, heavy graphics work | 32 GB |
Not every laptop can be upgraded: in some slim models, the memory is soldered in place. Send us your make and model, and we’ll let you know within one working day whether it’s possible and how much it will cost.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will I really notice a difference?
If your memory is full, however, Windows will temporarily write data to your hard drive, which is much slower. If your memory isn’t full, upgrading won’t make much difference — and we don’t recommend it in that case.
Can this be done alongside an SSD upgrade?
Certainly, that’s actually the most popular option. You only pay for installation once, and the upgrade to Windows 11 is included free of charge.
