Reliable: you can count on us

At TopLaptop we only sell laptops from brands that have earned their stripes, like HP, Dell and Lenovo. These manufacturers are known for their solid build quality, long-term support and wide availability of original parts. Perfect, then, for overhauls, upgrades and years of use.

For us, reliability means more than a good product. It means clear communication, honest advice and excellent aftercare. Every laptop is checked by hand, tested, and only sold once we stand behind it 100%. Does something go wrong anyway? Then we sort it out quickly and without the hassle. A laptop should simply work and do what (it thinks) you’re asking of it. A laptop should make your life easier. And so should the person who sells you that laptop. That’s what we try to do a little better every day.

Conscious: sustainable, responsible business

At TopLaptop, sustainability isn’t a marketing term but a core value. By giving used laptops a new lease of life, we save raw materials and prevent electronic waste. Parts get a second chance, we turn batteries into power banks, and we reuse packaging – sometimes to the delight of cats and dogs.

With every re-equipped laptop we save raw materials without compromising on quality. That’s why all our models come as standard with ample memory, fast storage and a Full HD screen, so they’re technically and practically right up to date again. That’s how we make a sustainable impact together – and how something written off economically becomes valuable again. So we also recognise when it’s no longer worth keeping a device in use. Here we let technical value give way to commercial value. Some devices, for instance, get a second (or even third) life in markets such as Africa.

We think a good laptop should be within everyone’s reach. That’s why we keep our prices fair and transparent. With us you pay for the value of the product and the craftsmanship in it – not for slick talk or fancy boxes.

We use our head to work efficiently and our heart to make fair choices. No hidden costs, no small print. Just a good device, for a good price. We buy our parts sharply, I work efficiently (process optimisation just happens to be my thing), we offer a small, specialist range – and that’s how we can price things by their value.

We’re honest and open

We’re clear about what you get and what you pay. On request you’ll get a detailed test report explaining the laptop you want to buy. And you also have a 30-day trial period within which you may return the laptop without giving any reason.

We offer personal service

No customer-service labyrinths, phone menus or queues. You simply get help from someone who knows what he’s talking about and who’s been lucky enough to turn his passion into his work.

We deliver quality you can count on

Every laptop is extensively tested and delivered with at least 1 Year of No Hassle Warranty. For a growing number of laptops we can even confidently give a 3-year warranty.

We work with the environment in mind

Every choice we make is made with an eye for sustainability – from product to packaging. Devices that aren’t safe or can no longer be repaired become donor laptops. Packaging is reused as much as possible, and suppliers are chosen as locally as possible, or as high up the chain as possible – so straight from the original manufacturer.
