Because TopLaptop doesn’t have a physical shop, you can’t try a product out first. Whether you’d even want to take a display model home is another matter — but fair enough. You’re buying from us at a distance, and that comes with certain risks. We want your shopping experience to be as close as possible to an in-store one — or your money back.

You may try your order free of charge for 30 days. By law you get at least 14 days to change your mind; so we give you 30. That means you can return the product within 30 days of receipt without giving any reason, after which you get your money back. Naturally, a few rules apply:

How to withdraw.
- Via the link you received in your shipping confirmation;
- Via My Account;
- In writing, using the model form.

What happens next. We confirm your withdrawal by email within 48 hours and then send you a free return label and the return instructions. It’s up to you to pack all items securely and drop them off at a service point near you.

When you send it back. After you notify us, you have 14 days to actually return the laptop. You’ll always meet this deadline if you send the product back before it ends.

When you get your money back. We refund the full purchase amount (including the original shipping costs) within 14 days. We may wait to do so until we’ve received the laptop back, or until you’ve shown that you’ve sent it — whichever comes first.

Signs of use. You’re of course free to unpack and try out your order, just as you would in a shop. Refurbished devices often already show signs of use — we understand that. But if you’ve used the device more than necessary to establish its nature, features and how it works, and the refurb grade has dropped a tier or more as a result (see our table of refurb grades), we reserve the right to offset this loss in value against the amount to be refunded.

Software. Did you buy software with your order and agree at purchase to its immediate delivery? Then the right of withdrawal for that software lapses as soon as delivery has started, and you won’t get a refund for it. Nothing changes for the laptop itself.
