Does it take minutes to boot up and does everything run sluggishly? A faster or larger SSD is the upgrade you’ll notice the most. From €99 for 512 GB, including the transfer of Windows, your programmes and all your files. Your laptop will then simply pick up where you left off, only much faster.
How much does it cost?
| Upgrade | Price including transport and installation |
|---|---|
| 512 GB SSD | from €99 |
| 1 TB SSD | from €139 |
| 2 TB SSD | from €199 |
| I’d rather do a clean install of Windows than transfer the data | the same price |
We only fit top-brand SSDs (such as Samsung, WD, Crucial or Kingston). No no-name budget drives: they’re slow and often break down quickly.
How you’ll notice it
- Boots up in seconds rather than minutes
- Open programmes and files straight away
- More space for photos, documents and programmes
Frequently Asked Questions
Will I lose any files or programmes?
No. We’ll transfer your entire system to the new SSD. It’s always a good idea to make your own backup beforehand.
Is an SSD upgrade worth it, or would I be better off adding more RAM?
That depends on your laptop. If it still has a spinning hard drive, the SSD will always be the better option. Not sure? Send us your model, and we’ll give you honest advice on what will give you the best results — sometimes it’s the combination, and sometimes we’ll simply tell you: don’t do it.
What will happen to my old hard drive?
You’ll simply get it back – handy as an extra backup. Would you prefer to have it securely erased and recycled? We’ll do that free of charge.
