Repair or replace?
Honest advice: with an 8-year-old laptop, a new screen isn’t always the best option. If it’s not worth repairing, we’ll tell you straight. You can then trade in your laptop with us for a refurbished one — which often works out cheaper.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will my files be kept?
Yes. We’ll only replace the screen and won’t touch your storage. It’s always a good idea to make a backup.
My screen is still working, but it has a few dead pixels. Can that be fixed?
Dead pixels cannot be repaired; the only solution is to replace the entire panel. Up to three dead pixels is within the international standard; if there are more than that, replacement is worth considering.
Does the new screen come with a warranty?
Yes, a 1-year warranty on parts and labour. Damage caused by a fall and breakages are not covered.
