Ordering, paying and delivery
Nice words, that No Hassle. How do we put it into practice and, more importantly, how do you notice it as a customer? We try to make our buying process as upbeat and frictionless as we can. That means honest, clear expectations in our communication, a wide range of flexible payment methods, solid partnerships with reliable, fast couriers, and approachable customer service with generous warranty terms. That, to us, is No Hassle.
1. What product quality you can expect
- Professionally and better re-equipped laptops – upfurbished, not merely ‘refurbished’ and certainly not ‘second-hand’ or ‘second chance’. At TopLaptop every laptop is thoroughly tested on more than 20 visual, functional and internal points – so you know exactly what you’re buying.
- Fully Windows 11 compatible
- With charger, safe and ready to use.
You get at least 1 Year of Warranty from us, including (limited) cover on wear parts such as batteries.
2. You order from us
- Choose your laptop and the accessories you want.
- Choose where you’d like your order delivered: at home or at a pickup point nearby (tip: cheaper and better for the environment).
- Orders above a minimum order value are delivered free of charge.
- Pay securely via iDEAL, Bancontact, credit card or Klarna, among others, through our reliable payment partner Mollie.
- With us you can pay in instalments or defer payment, so you can try your product first without any risk. We don’t charge a surcharge for this, but we do want to point out the risks. Please read this information from the AFM carefully beforehand.
- You’ll receive a confirmation by email straight away, and we’ll keep you posted on the shipping status of your order.

3. We deliver to you
- Every item shows an indication of the delivery time. For most items, ordered before 15:00 means shipped today. We just can’t guarantee next-day delivery, because we don’t handle that ourselves. If something unexpectedly comes up, we’ll let you know that same day and discuss the options with you. Want certainty about the delivery time? Just ask and we’ll look it up for you right away.
- We send our shipments to home addresses via PostNL. If you choose delivery to a pickup point, you can choose between PostNL and DHL.
- We deliver laptops exclusively with insured home or office delivery via PostNL.
- For safety and liability reasons, we do not deliver laptops to PostNL service points or pickup points.
- So don’t enter a service point address as the delivery address, because such shipments are automatically refused and returned.
- The only exception: if you work at the service point yourself and the package is personally intended for you.
- Some items are delivered directly by a partner or supplier. When that’s the case, we remain responsible for them and we take that responsibility. Either way, you get the same service you can expect from us.
- We install, update and test every laptop before shipping. That way you’re assured of the experience of a new, safe and clean laptop.
- Every shipment over 100 euros is insured for its full value against loss and damage during transport.
- You’ll get a track & trace code to follow your delivery with. You can also adjust your delivery.

4. Your laptop arrives ready to use – you take the last step
- We deliver the laptop so that you can complete the Windows 11 installation yourself the moment you switch it on. Why? Because your safety and privacy come first. By finishing the installation yourself, you know exactly what’s happening and you avoid any unnecessary software or settings being added in advance. That way you start with a clean slate, fully in your own hands.
- Once you’ve set up your laptop just the way you like it, you can use it however you want. You’ve made a smart and green choice by buying a TopLaptop. And we appreciate that enormously. And you get to enjoy it too. 💚
You do the first setup of your laptop yourself, so you can really “make it your own” and be sure the installation is fresh and clean. The only thing missing is that “new laptop smell”
5. What if something’s up?
- 30-day right of withdrawal – no fuss (though we’d love to know if you’d like to tell us, so you can help us and other customers in the future).
- No Hassle Warranty – we believe in repair, and replacement if that’s not possible. Naturally everything is done in consultation, and you always have the right to choose which form of warranty best suits your situation. You’re responsible for your own data management and backups when we carry out a repair, replacement or return under warranty.
