Is the infection too deep-seated? In that case, we’ll reinstall Windows (€89; we’ll deduct the €79) and restore your files in a controlled manner. We’ll always let you know first.

Did you log in or make a payment whilst your laptop was infected? If so, change those passwords straight away using another device, and notify your bank about any payments. This can’t wait until the laptop has been repaired.

Will I need a paid antivirus programme after that?

Usually not. Windows’ built-in security is good, provided it’s set up correctly. We’ll take care of that, and we’ll explain what you need to look out for.

Will my files be kept?

Yes, we’ll check your files and leave them as they are. Only in the event of a reinstallation will we first move them to a separate location and then restore them after checking them.
